The K.I.S.S. principle

Here, K.I.S.S. is an acronym for ' Keep It Simple, Stupid ', which is a design principle noted by the U.S. Navy in 1960. The acronym was reportedly coined by Kelly Johnson, lead engineer at the Lockheed Skunk Works.

The KISS principle is best exemplified by the story of Johnson handing a team of design engineers a handful of tools, with the challenge that the jet aircraft they were designing must be repairable by an average mechanic in the field under combat conditions with only these tools.
Hence, the "stupid" refers to the relationship between the way things break and the sophistication available to repair them.

Therefore, the KISS principle states that most things work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated.

I have learned a few reasons which make life more complicated ~

1. Comparing self to others ::
Don’t compare your Chapter 1 to someone else’s Chapter 10.

2. Overcommitting ::
We try to do way too much. It is tempting for every second of the day to complete and tick the to-do list tasks. Don’t do this to yourself. Leave space.

3. Patience and Poise ::
Two things define you daily –
your patience when you are struggling
and
your attitude when you are not.

4. Letting the haters get to you ::
Most haters don’t really hate you.
They are just complicated individuals who just hate where they are in life, and you’re a reflection of what they wish to become.
So, don't take it to your nerves.

5. Worrying on What Ifs ::
Wouldn’t you rather have a life of “OH WELLS” than a life of “WHAT IFS”?
Wouldn’t you rather take chances and learn something new every day?
Enjoy your journey!

$$ Simplicity should be a key goal and unnecessary complexity should be avoided. $$
